Love, imagination and children were Created to run wild...let them. And let me capture the beautiful chaos of it all.

Hey there, I am Stacey VanEerten with STAcEY LEE V Photography.

Who I am..... I rarely know. Life is so chaotic. I am a momma to 3 littles and 2 bigs and 3 grand littles with the will and the energy of the untamed wildebeest. These little people, all of whom love running, hiding and exploring in the fields next to our home until fireflies twinkle and the light from the setting sun fades into hues of deep orange and pale purples. The sun playing peek-a-boo just over the farmer's strawberry fields lets them know it's time to come inside for the night.

Our home and the place I love to shoot the most would be our sweet wild fields in the back 40, where the wild things feel the air cooling from the summer's sun now resting just beneath the horizon. Knowing it's their time to come out and have their play. Whether it's the spotted owl or the family of bunnies peeking just over their grassy burrow or maybe the doe and her fawn frolicking together before it is time to nest down the for evening. It's the wild that deserves to have time uninterrupted by my little dirt stained wild-lings, now soaking in a warm bath from the days play.

Photography brings me the purest form of joy. Moments so joyful you wish a lifetime full of them. Knowing in my mind these little souls will soon lose interest in child's-play such as "hide and no peek" and my personal favorite duck duck "moose" in the back 40. Friends and schooling will soon take the place of picking elder berries off of the heavy limbs, or searching for baby deer nestled the tall tall grass waiting for their mama to come back with a sweet nuzzle telling them it's safe to come out. Long rides on the "bunny-trail" naming each new found friend some ridiculous bunny name will be a lost memory. While the laughter and the child's-play may wane, I refuse to let the memories do so.

I am not claiming to have a super power of freezing time. I simply have an ability to capture a moment that at the time may seem chaotic and imperfectly insignificant, but will evoke emotion and take you back to a most beautiful season in your life even if we don't know how to cherish that season in the moment. I don't want any of us looking back and feeling like we missed this. I want you to look ahead, straight at your photo and be reminded of the joyful connection that we created and continue to.

Photography is a way to be still in my head and see all the beautiful things life has to offer
